Las Mimosas is situated on a hill in the middle of a wide valley surrounded by ancient cork oaks, umbrella pines and olive groves. It was built as a “labour house” for the smallholders to use while working their land or “finca”. Las Mimosas is luxury living while being fully self-sufficient. Solar panels provide all the electricity and hot water needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in the Spanish countryside and your ideal Andalucia holiday. Thus your eco-friendly holiday offsets the carbon footprint of your journey!

Las Mimosas is a self-catering eco-friendly villa and sleeps up to six people. Children are welcome. So are family pets as the finca covers almost a hectare of natural countryside. Plenty of room to have a gentle stroll or for children to run around and play as the property is fully fenced.

Self catering accommodation Andalucia

The eco-friendly accommodation comprises a large living room with a large sofa and a sofa-bed, log fire (logs supplied), refectory dining table, CD player, a selection of books and family games. The French window opens onto the west facing terrace from where you can wine and dine watching the sun set over the Portuguese hills in the distance. There is a barbeque on the east terrace. The open-plan kitchen has a gas cooker and electric fridge, and is fully equipped.

Main entrance There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed with an ensuite bathroom with a large separate shower. The second bedroom has twin beds with a family bathroom along side. We have a travel cot if needed. All linen and towels are provided. Other equipment includes an iron and ironing board, and hairdryer.

You will be greeted with a welcome pack including wine, beer, drinking water, fresh bread, butter, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and seasonal Spanish produce.

Pepe and Rocio look after the villa when we are not there.

Getting to Las Mimosas Holiday Villa

Villablanca is situated five minutes from the E1 motorway which runs between Seville to the east and Faro in Portugal to the west. There are many flights from the UK to either airport. Seville airport is about 1h15mins and Faro is 50mins from Las Mimosas. We do not have a fixed changeover day so you can maximise your journey plans. We can recommend car hire firms from both airports. We will supply detailed directions to the villa.
