Las Mimosas is situated in the unspoilt countryside of the Spanish Algarve, near Villablanca in Huelva province, just inside the border with Portugal. Huelva is one of the least visited of Andalucia’s provinces, with miles of sandy beaches backed by dunes and pines along the Atlantic coast, known as the Costa de la Luz.

Las Mimosas is a 2 bedroom rural holiday villa in Huelva Province near the Portugese border of Spain. It is situated on a hill in the middle of a wide valley surrounded by ancient cork oaks, umbrella pines and olive groves, a short 20 minute drive from the long sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz in Andalucia.

The eco-friendly villa is self-sufficient and has two bathrooms, one ensuite. Solar panels provide electricity and hot water. You can enjoy your breakfast under the cork oak on the east terrace outside the front door.. In the evening, dine on the west terrace as you watch the sun setting over Portugal.

The Location

The villa is about a mile from Villablanca, a typical “white town” of very ancient origins in Andalucia Spain, where you can find everything you need if you look for it. The long sandy beaches are about 20 minutes away by car.

Things to do in Andalucia

There are many golf courses in the area on both sides of the border with Spain and Portugal. All welcome visiting players. Sailing, windsurfing and kite boarding take place off the local beaches in the Spanish holiday season.
